Hearty welcome to the learners and a warm greetings to the staff
of Maharaja Madakarinayaka First College For Arts and Commerce on
the eve of new academic year 2020-21.
At the outset, let me remind you all that a time has come for us
to redesign our curriculum teaching and learning in the wake of
Covid-19.The pandemic has not only disturbed our societal networks
but also disturbed our educational scenario.In such a condition
we need to evolve a holistic approach to come out from that chaotic
situation created by this corona pandemic. I appeal to all the stakeholders
of education to support our pro active educational activities and
creative socio cultural activities.
It is our mission that providing skill based quality education which
is job oriented to make our students self-reliant and socially and
economically empowered. To make our mission a reality, we need to
work hard.At this juncture, I am reminded of Americal poet Robert
Frost's poem who writes in his poem 'Stopping By the Woods on A
Snowy Evening'
'The Woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep'
Let us not forget our prime duties as students and teachers.It
is the collaborative effort of the teachers and the students that
can bring laurel to both of them.Thereby, they are enriched and
they make the society and the nation healthy, wealthy and safe.Come
my fellow men to play the given role in the institutional premises
efficiently to make the college a collage of effiency of learning,
suffiency of skills and profiency of teaching.let my fellow teachers
adopt innovative methodology of teaching and I hope they will succeed
in their pedagogy. To conclude, I assure all the students that the
entire collegiate family is ready to assist in transforming your
personality to be socially and nationally useful human being. Let
us not forget that Where there is a will, there is a way.So, let
us be spirited and highly creative to carry out our good deeds.I
hope my fellow teachers adhere to pedagogical ideologies and my
collegiate students commit to educational ideologies in their endeavours.
